DSWD may naka-ready na P1.4B para sa pananalasa ng bagyong Rosal
Tiniyak ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na ang kanilang Central Office, Field Offices, at National Resource Operations Center ay may inihandang higit P1.4 bilyong standby funds at halaga ng relief packs para sa bagyong Rosal.
Ayon kay Sec. Erwin Tulfo, bukod pa dito ang higit 547,000 family food packs na nakahanda para ipamahagi sa mga mangangailangan na lokal na pamahalaan.
“Tinitingala tayo ng mga tao and we are expected to do our job. And our job is to respond to every calamity or disaster,” paalala ni Tulfo sa pakikipagpulong sa kanyang regional directors.
Pagtitiyak nito na nakahanda ang kagawaran para magbigay tulong sa mga LGUs na maapektuhan ng panibagong bagyo na pumasok sa Pilipinas.
