Partylist solon hinanap tamang serbisyo sa senior citizens
Labis na nakukulangan si Senior Citizen Partylist Representative Rodolfo ‘Ompong’ Ordanes sa pagbibigay serbisyo ng National Commission on Senior Citizens (NCSC) sa nakakatandang populasyon sa bansa.
Aniya, lumitaw ito matapos ang dalawang pagdinig na isinagawa ng pinamumunuan niyang House Special Committee on Senior Citizens, kasama ang House Committee on Public Accounts.
Ani Ordanes lumutang sa mga pagdinig ang mga pagkukulang ni Chairman Franklin Quijano sa pamumuno niya sa NCSC.
“The questions posed to Chairman Quijano were to ascertain his basic understanding and mastery of his role and functions at the NCSC. In my view, he failed miserably. He has very little understanding of how any government agency works and has to be led by his subordinates instead of him leading the way,” diin ni Ordanes.
Nalantad din aniya ang paglabag ni Quijano sa NCSC Charter.
“Every time he talked in the past hearings, he dug for himself a deeper hole, exposed his incompetence and lack of comprehension of basic government agency operations and management,” sabi pa ni Ordanes.
