NTC pinarangalan bilang top requested and performing agency sa ika-5 sunod na taon

Kinilala ang National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) bilang runner-up FOI Champion awardee at isa sa Top Requested and Performing Agencies na may mahigit 1000 requests at 90% closed transactions sa eFOI portal.
Ito ay ginanap sa katatapos lamang na 2022 Freedom of Information (FOI) Awards ceremony, sa pangunguna ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Philippine Information Agency (PIA) sa pamamagitan ng Freedom of Information – Project Management Office (FOI-PMO), at sa ilalim ng Agencies/Bureaus/Commissions/Council Category.
Sa ika-limang sunod na taon ay pinarangalan ang NTC bilang Top Requested and Performing Agency. Tinanghal din nito bilang FOI Champion noong nakaraang taon.
Sa ngalan ni dating NTC Commissioner Gamaliel A. Cordoba, tinanggap nina Ms. Divina N. Daquioag, NTC FOI Officer at NTC Deputy Commissioner Jon Paulo V. Salvahan ang naturang parangal.
Sinabi ni NTC Deputy Commissioner Salvahan na, “Rest assured that the NTC, through its FOI Officers’ daily intervention in the FOI portal and standard platform, will continue to abide by the principles of the FOI Program as well as activities as we constantly strive to render transparent, fast and reliable public service to the Filipino people.”
Ang FOI Awards ay taunang selebrasyon na iniaalay sa FOI partners, program implementors, at stakeholders na nag-ambag para sa progreso, ikauunlad, implementasyon, at pagsulong ng FOI program
