P2.02 bilyong pondo para sa indigent members ng Philhealth, inilabas na ng DBM

Inilabas na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang P2.02 bilyong pondo para sa subsidiya sa health insurance ng mga indigent members ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).

Ayon kay DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, inaprubahan na ng kanilang hanay ang Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) para ma-cover ang 673,965 indigent members sa ilalim ng National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) para sa Enero hanggang Disyembre 2022.

“We are happy that before this year ends, we were able to cover the remaining subsidy for the health premiums of our kababayans,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.

“This is our way of showing that the DBM supports President Marcos Jr.’s goal of providing affordable and inclusive health care for all Filipinos,” pahayag ni Pangandaman.

Tiniyak naman ni Pangandaman na tuloy-ruloy ang pondo para sa National Health Insurance Program sa susunod na taon kung kaya naglaan ang DBM ng P100 bilyon para sa implementasyon nito.
