2nd phase ng interoperability ng SLEX, NLEX RFIDs ikakasa sa Enero
Maaring sa darating na Enero ay maipapatupad na ang second phase ng toll interoperability project ng dalawang major toll operators sa bansa.
Sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Transportation, ibinahagi ng Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) ang mga plano para sa roll out ng second phase ng proyekto.
Bunga nito, ang mga gumagamit ng Easytrip RFIDs ay maari na itong mairehistro para magamit sa expressways na ang gamit ng mga motorista ay Autosweep ng San Miguel Corp.
Ang Autosweep ay ginagamit sa SLEX, NAIA Expressway, STAR Tollway at TPLEX (Tarlac-Pangasinan – La Union Expressway).
Samantalang ang Easytrip naman ay sa NLEX, SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway) Cavitex (Cavite-Manila Expressway), CALAX (Cavite-Laguna Expressway) at C5 Southlink.
Mula sa darating na Disyembre 12 ay magsasagawa ng information campaign, kung saan magbibigay ng leaflets sa mga motorista hinggil sa naturang plano.
Itinakda naman sa Enero 16, 2023 ang roll-out ng plano.
