Sec. Ben Diokno hindi aalis sa Finance Department
Tsismis lang ayon kina Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno at Albay Representative Joey Salceda ang kumakalat ukol sa kanialang dalawa.
Itinanggi ni Diokno na baba siya sa puwesto at pagiging miyembro ng economic team ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. at papalitan naman siya ni Salceda.
“I don’t know where this is coming from. Right? I’m old enough in this game to even bother about this. I just work nonstop unceasingly to do my job. And I always think of what’s the greatest good for the greatest number,” ani Diokno sa isang panayam.
Diin niya maganda ang relasyon nila ng Punong Ehekutibo at kaibigan naman niya si Salceda.
Bago pa ito, nagsalita na si Salceda at pinasinungalingan ang pag-upo niya bilang kalihim ng Department of Finance (DOF)
“Do not covet thy neighbor’s job. In past administrations, as in the present, I was able to move fiscal policy from my seat in Congress,” sabi nito.
Aniya malapit niyang kaibigan si Diokno.
