Walk of Faith ipinalit sa Traslacion ng Itim na Nazareno
Wala pa rin Traslacion ang mangyayari sa kapistahan ng Itim na Nazareno ng Quiapo sa darating na Enero, ngunit inanunsiyo na may magsasagawa naman ng tinatawag na Walk of Faith para sa mga deboto sa Enero 8.
Kayat hinihikayat ni Fr. Earl Allyson Valdez ang mga deboto na makibahagi sa Walk of Faith, na gagawin sa bisperas ng kapistahan.
Magsisimula ang aktibidad matapos ang Banal na Misa ng hatinggabi ng Enero 8 sa Quirino Grandstand.
Dadalhin ang imahe ng Itim na Nazareno sa Quirino Grandstand para sa ‘Pagbibigay Pugay’ na ipinalit naman sa tradisyonal na ‘Pahalik.’
Sa ngayon ay isasapinal pa ang ruta ng Walk of Faith.Paalala pa rin ni Fr. Valdez na magdala ng kandila ang mga deboto at sumunod sa health protocols.
“Let us observe an orderly and peaceful procession mindful of physical distancing. We will not have the actual image of the Black Nazarene during the walk but we are inviting those who are planning to join to bring candles and small images of the Black Nazarene,” aniya.
