US Vice President Kamala Harris bibigyan ng briefing ng PCG sa sitwasyon sa Palawan
Bibigyan ng briefing ng Philippine Coast Guard si US Vice President Kamala Harris kaugnay sa maritime operations ng Pilipinas sa Palawan.
Ayon kay PCG spokesman Commodore Armand Balilo, magtutungo si Harris sa Puerto Princesa sa Palawan sa araw ng Martes, Nobyembre 22 sakay ng BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701).
Sina PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, CG Vice Admiral Rolando Lizor Punzalan Jr, PCG District Palawan Commander, CG Captain Christopher Meniado, and BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701)’s Skipper, CG Commander Erwin Tolentino ang magwi-welcome kay Harris sa barko.
Ayon kay Balilo, bibigyan ng briefing si Harris matapos ang vessel tour sa barko na isa sa dalawang pinakamalaking barko ng PCG.
“Aside from Coast Guard officers, officials from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Transportation (DOTr), and local government units (LGUs) will board BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701) to listen to the Vice President’s address,” pahayag ni Balilo.
May nakatakda ring pulong si Harris kina Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at Vice President Sara Duterte.
