Cha-cha sa pamamagitan ng Con-Con itinutulak sa Kamara

Ngayon maituturing na bago pa ang administrasyon, isinusulong na ni Cagayan de Oro Representative Rufus Rodriguez (2nd, District) ang pag-amyenda sa Saligang Batas.
Inihain ni Rodriguez ang House Resolution No. 12 para maamyendahan ang ilang probisyon na pang-ekonomiya sa 1987 Constitution.
Nais ng namumuno sa House Committee on Constitutional Amendments na magkaroon ng Charter Change sa pamamagitan ng Constitutional Convention.
Binasa na ang panukala sa plenaryo ng Kamara kahapon.
“Such constitutional reform has been identified by reputable business and economic groups as one of the key policy instruments that needs to [be] implemented, and is now long overdue,” aniya.
