Special assembly ng US Bishops, pangungunahan ni Cardinal Tagle
Pangungunahan ni Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle ang retreat ng 2016 Special Assembly ng United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Gaganapin ang USCCB sa June 13 hanggang 17 sa Diocese of Orange sa California kung saan dadalo ang 449 na aktibo at retiradong obispo kasama na ang apat na cardinals.
Nabatid na si special assembly at USCCB President Archbishop Joseph Kurtz ang nag-imbita kay Cardinal Tagle.
Kasalukuyang nasa Bangkok, Thailand si Cardinal Tagle para sa Caritas Asia meeting kung saan nagsisilbi siyang speaker ng international conferences.
May tema ang okasyon na “The Bishops as Missionary Leader for the Human Family.”
Nagtitipon-tipon ang mga obispo sa Amerika kada tatlong taon.
