Deployment ng OFW sa Saudi Arabia tuloy na

Itutuloy na ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) ang pagpapadala ng mga overseas Filipino workers sa Saudi Arabia simula sa Nobyembre 7.

Ito ay matapos ipatupad ang ilang taong deployment ban dahil sa COVID-19 at ilang isyu sa kapakanan ng mga OFW.

Ayon kay Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople, karamihan sa mga ipadadalang OFW ay mga domestic workers.

Sa ilalim ng bagong employment contract, bibigyan na ng insurance coverage ang mga domestic at skilled workers.

Sagot aniya ito ng mga employer pati na ang pamasahe sa eroplano, refund ng recruitment costs at iba pa.

Matatandaan na noong 2019, mahigit sa 189,000 na OFW ang ipinadala sa Saudi Arabia.
