Isa pang person of interest sa Percy Lapid murder case ang inilipat ng kostudiya mula sa Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines patungo sa National Bureau of Investigation.
Ayon kay Attorney Mico Clavano, tagapagsalita ng Department of Justice, ito na ang ikawalong person of interest sa kaso na Lapid.
Sa walong persons of interest, lima ang nasa kostudiya ng DOJ habang ang tatlo ay nasa kostudiya ng Philippine National Police.
Sinabi pa ni Clavano na maaring makunan na rin ngayon ng salaysay ang ikawalong person of interest.
Isa sa mga itinuturong person of interest si dating Bureau of Corrections director general Gerald Bantag.
Hindi naman matukoy ni Clavano kung nakapaghain na ng kasong administratibo sa Office of the Ombudsman ang abogado ni Lapid na si Attorney Bert Causing laban kay Bantag.
