11 indibidwal, ginawaran ng Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal

Ginawaran nng natatanging parangal ang 11 residente ng Quezon City.

Mismong sina Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte at Vice Mayor Gian Sotto ang nanguna sa awarding ceremony ng 20th  Manuel L. Quezon Gawad Parangal bilang bahagi ng 83rd Founding Anniversary ng lungsod.

Kabilang sa mga binigyan ng parangal sina dating Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año, Dr. J Prospero De Vera, Chairperson ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Ms Ana Rosa S. Almario, Vice President ng Adarna House at School Director ng Raya School Elementary School,  Ditta Sandico-Ong, isang visionary fashion designer, Antonio Joselito Lambino II, Managing Director for Strategic Communications ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Sonia Malasarte-Roco, co-founder ng Metro Manila Community Orchestra, Therese Clarence “Reese” Fernandez-Ruiz, advocate ng eco-ethical lifestyle, Alfredo Macam-Yao, isang entrepreneur, Danny Buenafe, News Bureau Chief ng ABS-CBN Europe at ABS-CBN Middle East, World Vision at Estrel’s Caramel Cake.

Tema ngayong taon ang “Sama-samang Pagbangon sa Bagong Panahon.”

“Ang pagpupugay na ito ay hindi lamang pagkilala sa mga natatanging hiyas ng ating lahi. Sabi nga ni Presidente Quezon, ang inyong tagumpay ay hindi lamang tagumpay ng ating bayan, kundi maituturing na yaman ng diwa ng buong sangkatauhan. I dare say that the accomplishments that we are celebrating today are real treasures of the human spirit,” ayon kay Belmonte.

Kinilala ang 11 indiibidwal dahil sa ipinamalas na galing sa ibat ibang larangan.

Taong 2022 nang magsimula ang Gawad Parangal at isinasagawa tuwing buwan ng Oktubre kasabay ng founding anniversary ng lungsod.
