Dalawang police generals iniimbestigahan sa ‘drug links’
Kinumpirma ni PNP Chief Rodolfo Azurin Jr., na may dalawang mataas na opisyal ng pambansang pulisya ang kasalukuyang iniimbestigahan dahil sa posibilidad na sangkot sila sa illegal drugs.
Ayon pa kay Azurin kapwa heneral ang dalawang opisyal.
Aniya ang dalawa ay iniimbestigahan sa posibleng kaugnayan nila kay Police Master Sgt. Rodolfo Mayo Jr, na inaresto kamakailan at nakumpiskahan ng 990 kilo ng shabu noong Oktubre 8.
Hindi kinilala ng hepe ng pambansang pulisya ang dalawa niyang opisyal at aniya wala pang sapat na ebidensiya laban sa kanila.
“They are on floating status. But this is unfair to them because their names are being dragged into this,” ani Azurin.
Dagdag pa niya; “These officers have careers, they worked hard for their cvareers and that is why we are very careful, we are not mentioning any names.”
