‘Lifestyle check’sa BuCor officials inihirit ng partylist solon
Hiniling ni ACT Teachers Partylist Representative France Castro na magkaroon ng lifestyle check sa lahat ng mga opisyal ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
Ang hirit ni Castro ay may kaugnayan sa mga nagiging bagong kaganapan sa pag-iimbestiga sa pagpatay sa broadcaster na si Percy Lapid noong Oktubre 3.
Pangamba ng mambabatas na may matinding motibo sa kaso.
Sa isa sa kanyang mga huling programa, hiniling na ni Lapid ang pagsasagawa ng lifestyle check sa mga opisyal ng kawanihan.
“Percy may have touched a very sensitive chord when he called for a lifestyle check on Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) officials and the powers that be in the prison conspired to eliminate him. It would be prudent if authorities would follow Percy’s tip of conducting a lifestyle check of past and present BuCor officials if they are indeed living within their means or have dipped their fingers in the illegal activities inside,” paniwala ni Castro.
