DOJ chief bukas na maging ‘star witness’ ang pumatay kay Percy Lapid
Bukas si Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla na maipasok sa kanilang Witness Protection Program (WPP) ang sumukong hired killer na umamin sa pagpatay kay broadcaster Percival Mabasa aka Percy Lapid.
Sinabi ito ni Remulla sa isang panayam sa kanya sa radyo, aniya “ kung talagang ‘yun ang paraan para matapos natin ang kaso, possible po yan.”
Aniya ito ay napapapag-usapan at dadaan sa pagbusisi ng korte.
Nilinaw lang ni Remulla na nang sumuko sa pambansang-pulisya si Joel Escorial, hindi nito inihirit na mapabilang siya sa WPP.
Inatasan naman na ng kalihim ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na sumama sa isinagawang imbestigasyon ng pambansang pulisya.
“The NBI is playing a secondary role in terms of investigating sa conspiracy na meron pong involved sa Bilibid,” sabi ni Remulla.
