Kinasuhan na ng paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at Customs Modernization and Tariff Act ang anak ni Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla na si Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla.
Ito ay matapos makumpiskahan si Remulla ng halos isang kilo ng kush na isang mataas na klase ng marijuana.
Ayon kay Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency spokesman Derrick Carreon, inihain ang kaso sa Las Piñas Prosecutors Office.
Ayon kay Carreon, nakasaad sa Republic Act 1965 Section 4, habang buhay na pagkabilanggo ang parusa para sa mga sangkot sa importasyon ng illegal na droga.
Matatandaang si Remulla ang consignee sa illegal na droga na ipinadala ng isang Benjamin Huffman mula sa 1524 Hornblend Street sa San Diego, California.
