Pagtatalaga kay Garafil bilang OIC, bahagi ng transition ayon kay Pangulong Marcos
Nagpaliwanag si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong”Marcos Jr. kung bakit officer-in-charge pa lamang ang posisyon ni Press Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil.
Itinalaga ng Pangulo si Garafil bilang OIC ng Office of the Press Secretary matapos magbitiw sa puwesto si dating Secretary Trixie Angeles nang ma-bypass ng Commission on Appointments.
Ayon sa Pangulo, nasa transition period pa ngayon ang kanyang administrasyon.
Inaayos pa aniya ang rightsizing sa pamahalaan.
