Panawagang magbitiw sa puwesto si SOJ Remulla, walang basehan ayon kay Pangulong Marcos
Walang basehan ang panawagan na magbitiw na sa puwesto si Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla.
Ito ay matapos maaresto ang anak ni Remulla na si Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla sa Las Piñas City nang makumpiskahan ng halos isang kilong kush o isang klase ng high grade na marijuana.
Ayon kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., saka lamang maaring ipanawagan ang pagbibitiw sa puwesto kung hindi maayos ang pagtatrabaho ni Remulla.
“I think the calls for him to resign have no basis. You call for somebody to resign if he’s not doing his job or that they have misbehaved in that job,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Katunayan, sinabi ng Pangulo na maayos na nagtatrabaho si Remulla bilang kalihim ng DOJ.
“He has not done… He has done quite the contrary. He has taken the very proper position that he is recusing himself from any involvement in the case of his son. And I think that being the Secretary of Department of Justice he’s very aware that he must allow the processes of the judiciary to work properly and that no one in the executive should interfere,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
