Vaxx drive isulong sa barangay assembly – DILG chief
Hinimok ni Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos ang mga opisyal ng 42,046 barangays sa bansa na manghikayat ng kanilang mga kabarangay na magpabakuna kasabay nang pagsasagawa ng barangay assembly.
“We call on the Punong Barangays (PBs) and other officials to fulfill their mandate and conduct Barangay Assembly Days. I hope the barangays use this opportunity to talk to their constituents and encourage them to be vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19,” panawagan ng kalihim.
Dapat aniya ay ipaliwanag ng mga opisyal sa kanilang mga kabarangay ang kahalagahan ng pagiging bakunado kontra sa COVID 19, gayundin ang pagpapa-booster shot.
Ayon kay Abalos sa ngayon ay patuloy na ikinakasa ng Department of Health (DOH) ang PinasLakas.
Hanggang noong Oktubre 11, may 20,195,895 na ang nagpaturok ng booster shots at 73,342,216 na ang fully vaccinated sa bansa.
Maati naman aniya na isagawa ang barangay assembly ng face-to-face, blended o hybrid.
