Nakiramay si Quezon City City Mayor Joy Belmonte sa pamilyang naulila ng binaril na traffic enforcer.
Ayon kay Belmonte, matulungin at mahilig makipagkaibigan si Edgar Abad Follero.
“On behalf of the entire Quezon City local government, I would like to offer our sincerest and most heartfelt sympathies to the family of our slain traffic enforcer, Edgar Abad Follero,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Isang masipag na empleyado aniya si FOllero sa Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS).
“Indeed, his last minutes were spent assisting someone in need, specifically a delivery rider whose motorcycle had broken down,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Binaril si Follero ng suspek na agad namang naaresto.
“While the motive for his shooting still remains unknown, two Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) officers were quick to respond at the scene of the crime, and immediately arrested the suspect. The perpetrator is currently in police custody inside Camp Karingal, and there have been reports that the suspect is himself a police officer,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
“Needless to say, we assure the Follero family and all peace-loving QCitizens that we will do everything to ensure that justice will be served without any prejudice,” dagdag ng Mayor.
