COVID 19 positivity rate sa MM bumababa, tumataas sa ilang probinsiya – OCTA

Inanunsiyo ng OCTA Research ang patuloy na pagbaba ng COVID 19 positivity rate sa Metro Manila.

Ngunit kasabay nito ang obserbasyon ng independent research group ang pagtaas naman ng kaso ng hawaan ng nakakamatay na sakit sa ilang lalawigan.

Sinabi ni OCTA fellow, Dr. Guido David, ang positivity rate sa Metro Manila ay bumaba sa 15 porsiyento noong Oktubre 11 mula sa 17.9 porsiyento noong Oktubre 8.

Noong Oktubre 1 ang positivity rate sa Kalakhang Maynila ay 19.1 porsiyento.

Gayunpaman, maituturing na ‘very high’ ang positivity rate sa Tarlac (51.8%), Camarines Sur (46.2%), Zambales (33.6%), South Cotabato (26.2%), Cavite (22.6%), Laguna (22.2%) at Rizal (21.2%).

Ayon sa World Health Organization (WHO) kailangan ay nasa limang porsiyento o mas mababa pa ang positivity rate para maituring na ‘under control’ na ang pagkalat ng COVID 19.
