Turismo sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China dapat manatili

Umaasa ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang na mapapanatili ng Pilipinas at China ang ugnayan nito lalo na sa larangan ng turismo.

Pahayag ito ng Palasyo matapos ang maling impormasyon na kasama naa ang Pilipinas sa mga bansang blacklisted bilang tourist destination dahil sa operasyon ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).

Ayon kay Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil, patuloy na iwi-welcome ng bansa ang mga turistang Chinese.

“Nakita na natin iyong paglilinaw nga ng Chinese Embassy, at nag-post na rin sila ng official statement nila sa kanilang social media accounts,” pahayag ni Garafil.

“And we share the sentiment of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines that tourism is an important facet to our relationship. And we look forward to continuing with that relationship as we continuously welcome our friends from China, and we anticipate more of them to come in the months and years ahead,” pahayag ni Garafil.

Sinabi pa ni Garafil na mahigpit na tinutukan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang operasyon ng POGO.
