LTFRB chairperson Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, itinalagang OIC sa Office of the Press Secretary
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board chairperson Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil bilang officer-in-charge at undersecretary ng Office of the Press Secretary.
Ginawa ng Pangulo ang anunsyo matapos ma-bypass ng Commission on Appointments si dating Press Secretary Trixie Angeles.
Agad ding nagbitiw sa puwesto si Garafil bilang LTFRB chairperson matapos ang pagkakatalaga sa kanya ng Pangulo sa OPS.
“Today, October 7, 2022, I tendered my resignation as LTFRB chairperson as I have accepted the offer to help in the Office of the Press Secretary as its undersecretary and OIC,” pahayag ni Garafil.
Isang malaking karangalan at nagpapasalamat si Garafil sa tiwala sa kanya ng Pangulo.
“This is a great honor and privilege and I thank the President for this opportunity to once again work with him in his administration to serve the Filipino people,” pahayag ni Garafil.
