Pondo ng NTF-ELCAC inihalintulad sa ‘pork barrel ni Sen. Sonny Angara

Hindi naging malinaw ang paliwanag kaugnay sa pinagkagastusan ng bilyong-bilyong pisong naibigay sa National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).

Kayat, hiningi ng mga senador ang malinaw at detalyadong ulat kung paano ginastos ang anti-insurgency fund.

Sa pagdinig ng 2023 budget ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM), na siyang nagpapalabas ng pondo ng NTF-ELCAC, nadismaya na si Sen. Nancy Binay sa kanilang nadiskubre.

Sinabi ni Budget Usec. Tina Canda ang tanging impormasyon ay ang mga barangay na nabiyayaan mula sa pondo ng task force.

Inihalintulad naman ito ni Sen. Sonny Angara, ang namumuno sa Senate Committee on Finance, sa pork barrel na idineklara nang ilegal ng Korte Suprema

“Yun ang mahirap kasi, isn’t that a form of pork barrel that’s frowned upon? t’s a pork barrel based on the definition of the Supreme Court because you know when you pass the GAA there must be an identification of projects as much as possible,” pagdidiin ni Angara.
