Ayon kay Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, tinanggap na ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang pagbibitiw ni Calida.
Ginawa ni Calida ang pagbibitiw matapos ma-bypass ng Commission on Appointments.
Ayon kay Bersamin, nanghihinayang ang Pangulo na nagbitiw si Calida.
“We accepted that with regret and we commend him for his patriotism,” pahayag ni Bersamin.

Sa ngayon aniya, wala pang napipili si Pangulong Marcos na kapalit ni Calida.
Katunayan, marami pa aniya ang hindi nakaaalam na nagbitiw na si Calida.
