Pahayag ito ng Department of Health sa biglang pagdami ng nurse na nakikipagsapalaran sa ibang bansa dahil sa alok na mas malaking sweldo.
Ayon kay Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, kapos sa mga nurse ngayon ang mga pribado at pampublikong ospital.
Nais ni Vergeire na manatili sa 7,000 ang annual deployment cap sa mga bagong hire na medical professionals para sa abroad.
Bukod sa mga nurse, kapos din aniya ang Pilipinas sa mga doktor, midwives, dentists, physical therapists, pharmacists, at medical technologies.
