MMDA, hinihikayat ang mga tauhan na magsuot pa rin ng mask

Hinihimok ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang kanilang mga tauhan na patuloy na magsuot ng mask sa open at outdoor places kahit inilabas ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang Executive Order No. 3.

Sinabi ni MMDA acting Chairman Carlo Dimayuga III na bukod sa proteksyon laban sa COVID-19, nakakatulong din ito kontra sa polusyon.

“Traffic enforcers and street sweepers face the risk of acquiring respiratory illnesses in the performance of their duties. To protect their well-being, we highly encourage them to continue wearing face masks because their health is of utmost priority of the agency,” ani Dimayuga.

Nagpalabas ng memorandum ang ahensiya para sa kanilang mga kawani na patuloy na istriktong sumunod sa health protocols, kasama na ang pagsusuot pa rin ng mask.

Base sa EO 3, boluntaryo na lamang ang pagsusuot ng mask sa open spaces bagamat kinakailangan pa rin sumunod sa itinakdang physical distancing.
