Deliberasyon sa 2023 national budget umarangkada na sa Senado
Sinimulan na ng Senate Committee on Finance ang mga diskusyon para sa isinusulong na P5.368 2023 national budget.
Sa pamumuno ni Sen. Sonny Angara, ang chairman ng komite, inusisa kay Finance Sec. Benjamin Diokno ang plano ng gobyerno para sa susunod na taon.
Ipinaliwanag naman ni Diokno na desidido ang administasyong-Marcos Jr., na palakasin ang ekonomiya ang bansa kasabay ng matatag na lipunan.
Gagawin aniya ito sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay proteksyon sa pamilyang Filipino, gayundin sa paglika ng mga bago at karagdagang trabaho.
“The economic team’s proposed 2023 budget will fortify the country’s bid for a strong recovery and accelerated growth,” banggit ni Diokno sa Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) briefing.
Ikinatuwa naman ni Angara ang paglalaan ng karagdagang pondo para sa edukasyon, kalusugan at agrikultura.
“Whether it is enough, that is something that we will discover. We will be debating on the 2023 national budget in the coming days and weeks,” ani Angara.
