Namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa 560 kilometro North Northwest ng Itbayat, Batanes.
Taglay ng bagyo ang hangin na 140 kilometro kada oras at pagbugso na 170 kilometro kada oras.
Sinabi pa ng Pagasa na posibleng mag-landfall ang bagyo sa bisinidad ng Shanghai o Zhejiang.
