Dinumog ng mga deboto ang “traslacion” ng Our Lady of Penafrancia sa Naga City.
Ito ay matapos ang dalawang taon na pagsuspendi sa “traslacion” dahi sa pandemya sa COVID-19.
Ayon sa ulat ng CBCP News, aabot sa kalahating milyong deboto ang nakiisa sa prusisyon na nagsimula sa Naga Cathedral.
Ayon kay Archbishop Rolando Tria Tirona ng Archdiocese ng Caceres, nakatutuwa na malakas pa rin ang pananampalataya ng mga deboto.
Tema ngayong taon ang “Mary accompanies our journey towards a synodal Church.”
Ang Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia ay isang miraculous image ni Birheng AMria na venerated sa Naga City simula noong 1710.
