Sinabi ng ahensya na matapos ang kanilang pag-review sa CCTV footages, napag-alamang hindi nangyari ang nakawan sa NAIA Terminal 3.
“The luggage tampering could not have happened at NAIA Terminal 3 but at foreign airports where passenger made stop-over enroute to Manila,” saad nito.
Inaasahan anilang mag-aabot ang Etihad ng agarang tulong sa biktima habang gumugulong ang imbestigasyon.
Galing Madrid, Spain si Cotoco bago umuwi ng Pilipinas.
