Laman ng liham ni ES Rodriguez sa Senado kinontra ng Palasyo
Nilinaw ng Malakanyang na polisiya ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na makipagtulungan sa anumang pag-iimbestiga ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso.
Sinabi ito ni Press Sec. Trixie Angeles matapos banggitin ni Executive Sec. Victor Rodriguez sa kanyang sulat sa Blue Ribbon Committee na pinagbilinan siya ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na huwag sumipot.
Ngunit napilitan si Rodriguez na dumalo sa pagdinig bunsod na rin ng utos diumano sa kanya ng Punong Ehekutibo.
Sinabi ni Angeles na welcome kay Pangulong Marcos Jr., ang anumang hakbang na magbibigay linaw sa mga anomalya sa gobyerno.
“It has always been a policy of the President to cooperate fully with ongoing investigations, be it in the Senate or in the House of Representatives. In fact, the President welcomes any move by Congress to check allegations of anomalous transactions in government, as this bolsters the administration’s campaign for transparency in governance,” wika pa ni Angeles.
Binanggit na rin ni Angeles na nasagot at nabigyan linaw naman ni Rodriguez ang mga tanong sa kanya ukol sa ibinasurang Sugar Order No. 4 na dapat ay para sa pag-aangkat ng 300,000 metriko tonelada ng asukal.
