Urban green space and recreational park sa Muntinlupa, inilunsad ng MMDA
Opisyal nang inilunsad ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang Urban Green Space and Recreational Park sa bahagi ng Bayanan Baywalk sa Muntinlupa City.
Parte ito ng Adopt-A-Park project ng ahensya.
Pinangunahan nina MMDA Acting Chairman Engr. Carlo Dimayuga III at Muntinlupa City Mayor Rozzano Rufino Biazon ang inagurasyon at blessing ng parke.
“It is always a good day when we inaugurate projects like this because it is a testament of the significance of the productive collaboration between local government units and national agencies,” saad ni Dimayuga.
Sinabi naman ng alkalde na bahagi ang parke ng 7K Agenda, ang centerpiece ng kaniyang administrasyon. Sakop ng 7K Agenda ang Kabuhayan, Kalusugan, Karunungan, Kaunlaran, Kapayapaan/Kaayusan, Katarungan, at Kalikasan.
“We have a shared responsibility to maintain the cleanliness of the park. I urge the Muntinlupa City government as well as the officials of Barangay Bayanan to perform and discharge their duties accordingly for the benefit of our constituents,” diin pa nito.
Mayroong mga bagong bollard light, bench, at ramp ang naturang parke para sa mga taong may kapansanan. Mayroon ding exercise area at makulay na play area para sa mga bata.
Mayroon na ring kahalintulad na parke sa Valenzuela City.
