Naka-standby na ang Quick Response Team ng Department of Social Welfare and Development para sa Bagyong Henry.

Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo, inatasan na niya ang mga regional directors na maging proactive sa prepositioning ng mga resources ng kagawaran.

Ayon kay Tulfo, dapat makarating ang mga ayuda ng DSWWD sa mga low income class municipalities.

Kabilang sa mga pinaghanda ni Tulfo ang mga tanggapan ng DSWD sa Regions I, II, III, at Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Sa ngayon, nasa P1.5 bilyong halaga ng stockpiles at standby funds ang nakahanda sa DSWD.

“As of September 1, 2022, the DSWD has stockpiles and standby funds amounting to more than P1.5 billion for its disaster response operations. From the said amount, more than P600 million is the available standby funds in the Central Office and DSWD FOs, while there are 500,376 FFPs amounting to more than P300 million, other food items worth more than P180 million, and non-food items amounting to more than P424 million which are prepositioned strategically in various locations around the country,” pahayag ni Tulfo.

Pinaalalahanan ng DSWD aang mga residente na mag-ingat, maging alerto at lumikas kung kinakailangan.
