Imbestigasyon ng DOJ, DILG sa lumabas na appointment paper ni Espejo bilang BI Commissioner umarangkada na
Umarangkada na ang imbestigasyon ng Department of Justice at Department of the Interior and Local Government sa lumabas na appointment paper ni Attorney Abraham Espejo Jr. bilang commissioner ng Bureau of Immigration.
Sa Laging Handa public briefing, sinabi ni DOJ spokesman Mico Clavano na inatasan na ni Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na simulan ang pagsisiyasat.
Una rito, sinabi ni Press Secretary Trixie Angeles na nabahala si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. na may namemeke sa kanyang pirma at may gumagamit ng Presidential seal nang hindi awtorisado.
Dahil dito, inatasan aniya ng Pangulo ang DOJ at DILG na imbestigahan ang kaso.
Ayon kay Clavano, hindi minamaliit ng DOJ at DILG ang insidente ng pamemeke ng pirma at selyo ng Pangulo.
Isa sa mga anggulong sisiyasatin ng DOJ at DILG kung kanino nagmula ang dokumento at kung ano ang motibo sa pagpapalabas ng pekeng balita.
