P1.13 bilyong halaga ng agrikultura nasira sa Bagyong Florita
Umabot na sa P1.13 bilyong halaga ng agrikultura ang nasira dahil sa pananalasa ng Bagyong Florita.
Ayon sa Department of Agriculture, kabilang sa mga nasirang pananim sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, at Bicol.
Nasa 6,647 na magsasaka ang naapektuhan ng bagyo.
Nasa 66,633 metric tons (MT) at 44,922 ektarya ng agricultural areas ang nasira.
Kabilang sa mga nasirang pananim ang palay, mais, high value crops, livestock at poultry.
Sa ngayon, may nakahanda nang ayuda ang DA para sa mga apektadong magsasaka kabilang na ang:
- 69,046 bags ng rice seeds, 3,840 bags ng corn seeds, at 600 kilograms ng assorted vegetable seeds;
2. Drugs at biologics para sa livestock at poultry;
3. Fingerlings at assistance sa mga apektadong mangingisda mula sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR);
4. Survival and Recovery (SURE) Program sa Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC); at
5. Quick Response Fund (QRF) para sa rehabilitasyon ng mga apektadong lugar.
