Trending videos sa socmed, pinababantayan sa ‘cyber cops’
Ipinag-utos ni Philippine National Police – Anti Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) director Brigadier General Joel Doria sa kanyang commanders na paigtingin ang ‘cyber patrolling.’
Partikular na pinababantayan ni Doria ang mga video na trending sa social media.
Bunsod ito ng viral video sa Facebook ukol sa boses ng isang babae na humihingi ng saklolo dahil sa pagtatangka na siya ay pagsamantalahan.
Sa kabilang banda, sinabi ng opisyal na may mga pagkakataon na ang video uploaders ang unang nakakatulong sa pagresolba sa krimen.
“This is a clear manifestation of the community coming out into the open and responding to the PNP’s call for help in the country’s peace and order situation where they play an active part of support to the organization,” sabi pa ng opisyal.
Hamon pa ni Doria sa kanyang mga opisyal, alamin ang mga malisyoso at pekeng videos, at agad ito tanggalin sa social media platform upang hindi malinlang ang publiko.
