Protesta ng mga gutom na detenido sa Iloilo, sinisilip ng DILG
Agad pinaimbestigahan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang pagprotesta ng mga detenido sa Iloilo District Jail sa Iloilo City.
Nabahala si Sec. Benhur Abalos Jr. nang malaman ang ikinasang ‘noise barrage’ sa bubungan ng pasilidad ng mga detenido.
Hiniling ng mga detenido na mabigyan sila ng sapat na pagkain at matanggal sa puwesto ang jail warden.
Tinanggal na si Jail Chief Insp. Norberto Miciano bilang paunang hakbang bago ang pag-iimbestiga.
Inatasan din ni Abalos si BJMP Region 6 Dir. Russel Tangeres na agad tingnan ang hinaing sa pagkain ng mga detenido.
Pinalitan si Miciano ni Jail Insp. Woody Palmejar.
