DPWH-DAR, nag-turnover ng limang bagong tulay sa Palawan
Nai-turnover na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) ang limang bagong tulay sa lalawigan ng Palawan.
Benepisyaryo ng limang tulay ang mga bayan ng Roxas, Aborlan, El Nido, at Safronio Epañola.
Ang mga proyekto ay nasa ilalim ng Tulay ng Pangulo para sa Kaunlarang Pang-Agraryo (TPKP).
Kabilang sa mga bagong tulay ang 17.4-lineal meter Minarra Bridge at 22.8-lineal meter Buayan Bridge sa bayan ng Roxas; 28.8-lineal meter Parasao Bridge sa Aborlan; 28.8-lineal meter Cagbanaba Bridge sa El Nido; ant isa pang 28.8-lineal meter Abucayan Bridge sa Safronio Española.
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, makatutulong ang bridge projects para maisulong ang rural development sa agrarian reform communities.
“These bridges will be able to further support the livelihood of our farmers in these identified agrarian reform areas, boosting productivity of our agricultural lands,” saad ng kalihim.
Aabot sa P60 milyon ang halaga ng pondo ng mga tulay.
