Pasok sa public, private schools sa Maynila suspendido hanggang Agosto 24
Isinama ng pmahalaang lokal ng Maynila ang mga pribadong paaralan sa suspensyon ng klase sa araw ng Martes, Agosto 23, hanggang Miyerkules, Agosto 24.
Bunsod ito ng nararanasang masamang panahon dulot ng Severe Tropical Storm Florita.
Base sa Executive Order No. 29, idineklara ni Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan ang suspensyon ng pasok sa lahat ng antas ng mga pampubliko at pribadong eskwelahan.
Suspendido rin ang pasok sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno.
Hindi naman kabilang sa suspensyon ang Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Department of Engineering and Public Works, Department of Public Services, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau, Manila Health Department, anim na city hospitals, at iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno na nagbibigay ng basic and health services.
“Private offices shall have the discretion to make their own pronouncements under these conditions,” saad ng alkalde.
