Pagbuo sa Senate Committee on OFWs, suportado ni Sen. Bong Go
Nagpahayag si Senator Christopher “Bong” Go ng suporta sa pagbuo sa Senate Committee on Migrant Workers na isinulong ni Senator Raffy Tulfo.
Sinabi ni Go na ito ay pagtahak sa tamang direksyon para bigyan proteksyon ang milyun-milyong Filipino na nagsasakripisyo sa ibang bansa para itaguyod ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.
“This Congress, we are indeed moving towards the right direction with the creation of the Committee on OFWs that will be led by a very capable chairperson,” ani Go patukoy kay Tulfo.
Kasabay nito, kinondena ng senador ang mga kaso ng pang-aabuso at maling pagtrato sa ilang OFWs.
Ibinahagi nito na napakaraming beses na tumulong siya sa OFWs na inabuso at minaltrato sa ibang bansa.
