Sen. Imee Marcos, pinalulusaw ang dalawang ahensiya na binuo ng yumaong ama

Nais ni Senator Imee Marcos na lusawin na ang Procurement Service ng Department of Budget and Management, gayundin ang Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC), na pinangangasiwaan naman ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Katuwiran ng senadora, pinaglumaan na ng panahon ang dalawang ahensiya na binuo pa ng kanyang ama, ang yumaong Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Sr.

“They have not only outlived their usefulness, they gave in fact become agencies of malfeasance and corruption,” pagdidiin pa ng senadora.

Kasabay nito, nagbilin si Marcos na mag-ingat ang gobyerno sa mga pagbili kaugnay sa anunsiyo ng kanyang kapatid, si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., na palalawigin ang umiiral na state of public health emergency dahil nagpapatuloy pa ang pandemya.

Sa kanyang palagay, makakabuti kung direktang bibilhin na lamang ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno ang kanilang mga pangangailangan.

Naniniwala rin ito na sa ganitong paraan, makakatipid ng bilyun-bilyong piso ang gobyerno sa pambansang pondo sa susunod na taon.
