Higit 5,000 pulis, force multipliers magbabantay sa Metro Manila schools
Magtatalaga ng 5,233 pulis at force multipliers sa 1,212 paaralan sa Metro Manila sa muling pagbubukas ng mga klase sa darating na Lunes, Agosto 22.
Inanunsiyo ito ni acting National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief, Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo matapos na ring isapubliko ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang mga programa kaugnay sa School Year 2022 – 2023.
Sinabi pa ni Estomo na magtatalaga ng 440 Police Assistance Desks (PADs) bukod pa sa pakikipag-usap ng kanyang field commanders sa pamunuan ng mga paaralan.
Aniya, ang mga pulis ay itatalaga sa PADs, motorcycle patrols, EOD / K9, bus marshals, transport hubs, at Libreng Sakay vehicles.
May 149 police vehicles din ang maaring magamit para sa stranded students.
