Government media, pinabibigyang prayoridad ni Pangulong Marcos
Inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. ang Office of the Press Secretary na bigyang prayoridad ang government media.
Ayon kay Press Secretary Beatrix “Trixie” Cruz-Angeles, utos ng Pangulo na makipag-ugnayan sa iba’t ibang departamento at ahensya para magkaroon ng single messaging.
“The President has issued his directives for the Office of the Press Secretary. So, primarily that we coordinate with the other departments and agencies for single messaging. Under the single messaging policy for President and, we also give a premium to government media first,” pahayag ni Angeles.
Sinabi pa ni Angeles na karaniwan nang iniimbitahan sa regular press briefing sa Malakanyang ang Cabinet secretaries para mailatag ang kanilang mga programa.
“Because you know iyong mga campaigns ng ibang departments are directly from the President. In-order ng Presidente, we are all in, we chump in with everybody else and help them out. So, iyon, that is what we have been really doing lately, mostly, we are setting all these policies and making sure that the public gets the information that they need, particularly with the priority campaigns of the President,” pahayag ni Angeles.
