Bababa ang singil sa kuryente sa buwan ng Agosto.
Ayon sa Meralco, ito ay bahagi ng refund na una nang iniutos ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
Nasa 20.87 sentimo ang ibababa sa kuryente kada kilowatt-hour.
Ibig-sabihin, mula sa P9.7545 ang singil sa kuryente kada kilowatt-hour, magiging P9.5458 na lamang ito kada kilowatt-hour.
Kung susumahin, nasa P42 ang maaring ibaba sa electric bill ng isnag customer na kumukunsumo ng 200 kilowatt-hour.
Una nang inatasan ng ERC ang Meralco na i-refund ang P21.8 bilyong nasingil sa mga costumer.
