Pinabulaanan ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang kumakalat na Facebook post na idindeklarang special non-working holiday ang Agosto 9, 2022.

Ayon kay Press Secretary Beatrix “Trixie” Cruz-Angeles, walang katotohanan ang Facebook post at iba pang social media platform na special non-working holiday ang Agosto 9 na araw ng libing ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos.

“Hindi po ito totoo at walang inilalabas na anunsyo o proklamasyon tungkol dito,” pahayag ni Angeles.

Hinimok pa ng Palasyo ang publiko na maging mapanuri sa mga nababasa at nakikita sa social media.

Bibigyan ng Palasyo ng state funeral at 21 gun salute si Ramos.
