China, magkakasa ng “targeted military operations” kasunod ng pagbisita ni Pelosi sa Taiwan

Magkakasa ang militar ng China ng “targeted military operations” bilang tugon sa pagbisita ni United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sa Taiwan.

Kasabay ito ng sumiklab na tensyon sa pagitan ng Washington at Beijing.

“The Chinese People’s Liberation Army is on high alert and will launch a series of targeted military operations to counter this, resolutely defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and resolutely thwart external interference and ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist attempts,” pahayag ni Defense ministry spokesman Wu Qian.

Kinondena nito ang pagbisita ni Pelosi sa naturang bansa.

Nag-anunsiyo rin ang Eastern Theater Command ng People’s Liberation Army na magsasagawa sila ng joint military operations malapit sa Taiwan simula sa Martes ng gabi.

Magkakaroon din anila ng test-launch ng conventional missiles sa Silangang bahagi ng karagatan ng Taiwan.

Sinabi pa ng Easter Theatre Command na kasama rin sa military exercies ang joint air at sea drills sa Hilaga, Timog-Kanluran, Hilagang-Silangan ng Taiwan, long range live firing sa Taiwan Strait, at missiles test-launches sa Silangang bahagi ng karagatan ng Taiwan.
