‘Ateneo shooter’ nailipat na sa kustodiya ng BJMP
Hawak na ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) si Dr. Chao Tiao Yumul, ang itinuturong pumatay kay dating Lamitan, Basilan Mayor Rosita Furigay sa loob ng Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) campus noong Hulyo 24.
Sinabi ni Quezon City Police director Remus Medina na inilipat na si Yumul sa pasilidad ng BJMP sa Payatas matapos itong sumailalim sa medical examination.
Babasahan na rin ng sakdal si Yumul anumang araw ngayong linggo matapos aprubahan ng City Prosecutors Office ang mga patong-patong na reklamong kriminal na inihain laban sa kanya, kabilang ang three counts ng murder.
Magugunitang bukod kay Furigay, napatay din ni Yumul si Victor George Capistrano, ang aide ng dating alkalde at si Ateneo security officer Jeneven Bandiala.
Una na ring sinabi ni Medina na personal ang dahilan kaya’t nagawa ni Yumul ang krimen.
