Kasama ni Recto sa oath-taking ang kaniyang asawa na si dating Batangas Congresswoman Vilma Santos, at anak na si Ryan Christian.
Maliban kay Recto, nanumpa na rin bilang Deputy Speaker sina Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, Ilocos Sur 2nd District Rep. Kristine Singson-Meehan, Pampanga Rep. Aurelio Gonzales, at Cebu 5th District Rep. Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco.
